So I was accepted into a University here and submitted my application for a student visa through the cic, but it got rejected. I noticed there were two different applications, one to apply outside of Canada, and one to change your current condition. I applied with the one to change my current conditions. I finished my first two years of college in the States where I'm a citizen, and came back to live with my parents who I am dependent upon. How do I go about getting my student visa application processed and not denied while currently in Canada? Do I have to resubmit with the application to apply outside of Canada? Please help, this is very frustrating.

It is better that you post this in the International Students Forum

1. Shouldn't be frustrating, since visitors can't apply for study permits in Canada, you have to apply outside Canada.

So how do I go about it then? I filled out form IMM5709, was I supposed to use form IMM1294?
