How to apply for PR while residing in other provience

Hello,

I am on WP from Indian company to Canada(Work location Toronto). I want to apply for PR in other provinces( as the PR cutoff score in lottery pickup is less). I have option to Work from home all the time and can reside in any provience of Canada. What are the possible options of getting PR and are there any legal problems if I apply for PR in another state ?

Others can comment as well but as far as am aware there is no reason why if you qualify you cannot apply in any province assuming you are referring to a PNP program and you plan to live in the province. As for options you will need to research which provinces meet your specific qualifications and work experience.

Note a minor point whilst probably just a typo you need to get used to referring to Canadian provinces not states those are only south of the border and the immigration program is not a lottery but a process of qualification.

The province may have some concerns with your application if they know you are working in Ontario and may not believe that you intend to relocate. This is especially the case since this has been a longterm employer. There is freedom of movement when you are a PR but provinces have specific programs so they can fill their own labour shortages.
