I am PR. I want to apply visa/super visa on behalf of friends/family. I will do the whole process and act as representative. If my sensitive info such as PR card copies/SIN are in the file, how can I ensure that only myself (rep) and the VO will have access to the submitted documents during the entire process? I don't want any of the actual applicant having access to the documents at any stage. My lawyer and financial advisor have both warned against sending or sharing copies of these documents to ANY individual, regardless of relationship. I want to help my friends/family join us in Canada. Please advise what I can do.

@legalfalcon can you please help answer my question? Thanks very much

At the outset, the answer is that you cannot deprive the applicant of access to his/her information.

A representative (paid or unpaid), merely assists in filing the application and managing it. The representative can be removed from the application at any time by the applicant. Also, even if you do not provide access to the applicant to the online IRCC account, the applicant can at anytime switch to another account and add their application there and can request a copy of the documents from IRCC under the ATIP Act.

Also, when you act as a representative, you are appointed by the applicant, and you are in a position of trust (fiduciary). You should inform the applicant of all documents the applicant is signing and filing with IRCC.
