How soon can I renew my PRC

Hello,

My PRC expires in 10 months. How soon can I start my renewal application, minded that CIC waiting times for renwal is 172 days.

You can submit the application up to six months before your card expires. So you'll need to wait another four months.

Important information: Do not apply for a renewal of your current PR card if it is still valid for more than nine (9) months (270 days), unless it is due to a legal name change. Otherwise, your application will be returned.
