How much time between PR and landing?

I couldn´t really find an exact answer to my question on the internet, so I´m asking here

I´m living abroad with my husband and want to sponsor him. How much time is there left between the issuance of the PR and landing in Canada? I want to know so we can plan ahead, thanks

The PR visa is usually valid for a year from the date of his medicals.
