I am going to apply next week for immigration to canada, Will you help me for calculate my points .


Education 12 + 2+ 3 (Inter+Bachelor+ 3 years MBA Degree) total 17 Yeras
Age 40 years
Marital Status Married having 2 kids
English
Listening Moderate
Speaking Moderate
Reading High
Writing High

Profession IT Manager (NOC 0213)
Spouse Education 12 Years full time education

Work experience More than 20 years (5 Yeras As IT Manager)

Pls guide me how much points I can obtain as per above information

Age 10
Experience 21
English Proficiency 12 (2+2+4+4)
Spouse Education 2
Total:- 67

Eligible for apply for immigration
 
if u r from a country whose mother tongue is not english then u have to go 4 IELTS to claim points 4 language proficiency

Ash-1967's analysis is fairly accurate. If you score at least same in IELTS as you have assumed about yourself (4+4+2+2) you are safe to apply. Re-check your NOC and the listed duties in relevant NOC (write at least 70% similar and a few additional in your own words). Do not get confused by any other email/message at this stage. Go ahead and launch your application to CIO, NS, Canada. You are good to go.

Hi ,if spouse education is 12 years as intermediate in pakistan so u got 0 points not 2 correct me if i m wrong thanks and takecare

You will get 3 points if she is intermediate.

Dear ash_1967,

How you calculated 22 point for his education, could you explain?? He has master's degree + 17 years education.

Your MBA program was 3 years or you spend 3 years to complete MBA.
Usually in Pakistan MBA is 1 or 2 years degree.
 
Educational years are counted on the base on the years required to complete that degree. Not the years you spend to complete that degree.
 
my MBA was 3 year of duration , It was evening program
I have also read in CIC websie where adoptability point showing 3 ,if your spouse has 12 years full education.

so my full education is 17 years i.e (intermediate+bachelor+3 years duration of MBA evening program)

Pls advise

How many credit hours have you studied in your MBA?

MBA evening/executive program doesn’t full fill the requirement of total credit hours/week, required to complete a full time degree.
I am afraid to say you have to mark your self 22 points.
 
Another thing is that, the CIC people very well understand our education system. They are full aware of all types of degrees and programs.
In your case they will look at your credit hours and match it with the full time program. Because they say “full time or equivalent to full time”
Now count your credit hours.
