We are applying for my wife’s study permit from within Canada.
I have a post graduation work permit, and my wife has an open work permit. Our work permits are expiring in April 2018, so we are applying for my wife’s study permit. We are going to submit my work permit ( Spousal work permit) application along with her study permit application.
My question is, how much funds do I need to show in my account? Is it compulsory to open a new GIC account with $10,000 deposit? Or I can just show the balance in my current account? If I do so, how much balance do I need to show?
