How much can u expect to earn while working part time?

Can anyone tell how much can you expect to earn working 20 hrs/week on study permit? Is the money sufficient to support living expenses?
Also, what do students do when there is a semester break? Work full time?

I am asking because I want to estimate how much will I end up spending apart from tuition fees. Also, my university is in Montreal, Quebec.

You should assume you will make minimum wage which is around $10 per hour. There is never a guarantee you will get a job or that the job you find will give you 20 hours of work per week. So to be safe, you should assume that you will not be able to cover your living expenses fully through working.

Yes - you can work full time during breaks.
