HOW MANY YEARS IRCC WILL GIVE YOU FOR TOURIST VISA?

Hi, how many years that the IRCC will give for visit/tourist visa? are they giving the maximum validity of the passport? mine will expire December 2031 and thinking if they will issue till December 2031? please advice. thank you

You will know when you get it. No one can tell you. May be single entry. May be valid up to 10 years or may be valid for less.

They may give a shorter term first to ensue you abide by the conditions set with it and give you a subsequent one with a longer period of validity on your next application. It’s at their discretion

This depends on the mood of visa officers, for example, 80% of visas are granted for 6 months validity by the Riyadh office.
