how many years do I have to study in order to apply CEC?

Hey guys! I am looking for a college diploma to apply to in Toronto. Can it be a one year long? I ask because I saw here one post about a two year program delivered in one year...so I am not sure now whats right.

To qualify under the graduate stream of the CEC, you need to have completed a 2 year program(minimum of 16 months). If you complete a 2 year program in 1 year, it will not qualify under the graduate stream and you will receive a 1 year post-graduate work permit.
