How many weeks prior i can land in Canada from the employment date

Hi everyone,

I received my closed work permit via IEC on 4 jan 23.my employment date is 24 April 23. So now I have 2 main doubts which needs to be addressed:
1. How many weeks prior I can land in Canada from my employment date.
2. My employment is in Calgary so wanted to know if I can land first in Toronto for a stay and then go to Calgary once period is near to starting of employment.

First congrats on getting your approval. I have a question, how long did it take to get the approval?

Nice man... Singapore is taking ages.
I've applied on the 18th October after biometrics no updates yet still waiting.
