How many days if I did not hear from cic, I should be safe ?

Hi, I had problem with my cec application as I did not surrender my off campus work permit after leaving school. I did write a explanation letter to cic near my area to explain the situation last thurs. but after one day i mailed my letter, my lawyer told me not to do anything regarding that... Now I am worried, as I might did something to grab their attention again.... So I am wonder how long if I have not heard from cic regarding this issue, I should be ok....

Have you asked your lawyer why he says you shouldn't write?

I don't think anyone can predict when you'll hear from CIC --- especially since they don't acknowledge much apart from the original application.

If you have a lawyer I really recommend requesting his advice before you do anything. All communication with CIC should go through him.

I know but I tried to contact him right the way after I received the information, but he did not response me after four days, I really did not know what to do at that time, so I was too worried about it,,,
