Sorry! I don't mean to offend your family, but Chester Le is government (metro) housing. I used to live on the other side of that street, which is huntingdale..and yes there are some lovely houses!

I am, moving to Etobicoke. Where is the best place to find wings? Other than driving to Buffalo? ;D

lol everyones taste in wings is different...I like wing machine or double double wings...

I'll be living at Kennedy/Eglinton area...that is where grew up...before that I lived Gerrard/Jones area. We'll be staying w/my parents at first until we can move out on our own. Mmmm wings...Toronto has the best food, can find really good food of all ethicities...miss it all. Can't find really good food here in Oregon...there's a few, but that's about it. Everytime I was pregnant, I vraved for all the stuff I get to eat in TO that you can't get here...and if they have it here, it's not the same. They use to have the best chinese wings at a karaoke lounge called Monopoly's in Richmond Hill...but they closed now. That was back when I still lived there, over a decade ago, didn't have kids yet and went to karaoke on the weekends.

As for good wings, I remember good wings everywhere...mmm, I remember wing machine.

ruff part = dangerous part of town. most likely drugs/violence/gangs.

sorry to tell you the not so pretty news.

I'm no conesour of wings, but I have had great wings from Wingporium 995 Islington Ave (south of Bloor/Nth of Queensway).
It's a small sports bar with 88 flavours. 24hr TTC (bus service) there too, and it's a safe area :)

Hello, fellow North Yorker :)

Husband and I are near the construction nightmare of Keele/Finch. You?

Having spent 98% of my life in Buffalo, I'm ridiculously picky about wings. I have yet to find true Buffalo-style wings here, but Wing Machine is really good. Most places don't have proper blue cheese either (dipping your wings in ranch is close to blasphemy in Buffalo!) ;D

Hello there! We're at Willowdale, between Sheppard & Finch, quieter but not too far from the actions on Yonge. :)

Talking about wings in Buffalo, do you prefer Anchor's or Duff's or somewhere else? Shameful for me I haven't tried Duff's even though I've been there for 6 years.
