If you just mailed your inland application, you're looking at around 27 months for the PR application to be processed. Once your application is approved, and you land and become a PR, you're looking at anywhere from 1-3 months for the PR card to be issued.Faolchu said:Both actually. I have been in Canada since June 2014 on an iec visa
If you included the OWP app with the PR app, about 4 months. First stage approval, called AIP, is currently taking 17 months.Faolchu said:When on average is the 2 year work permit issued during this? The sponsorship portion from my fiancée usually done in three months?
You're confusing inland and outland. It's three months for outland. You've applied inland. First stage for inland is 17 months.Faolchu said:The sponsorship portion from my fiancée usually done in three months?
That depends, did you submit and pay fees for an Open Work Permit application along with your inland app?Faolchu said:OK will I be given a permit during this period?
Hi scylla, I saw the PR card processing time on CIC too but I couldn't find the link to somewhere like ECAS where we can follow up the status of the PR card, does it mean there's no way we can check the PR card status online?scylla said:The PR card process doesn't start until after you have landed in Canada and become a PR. Currently processing time is 52 days for everyone.
Are you asking about the processing time for your PR application - or the processing time for the PR card? These are two separate things.
