How long will my IEC work permit last ?

If I apply for an IEC work permit for 2018 now and only go there in October 2018, will it also be working untill 2019 ( around April ) ?

so German participants qualify for upto 12 months.

So if you arrive in October 2018 then assuming you arrive with insurance for the full time and proof of access to 2500 dollars then you could get a work permit through 12 months from October 2018 so to Sept/Oct 2019

When you get your POE letter that will generally be valid for 12 months so you must arrive whilst that letter is still valid.
