How long will it take to have passport request after paying RPRF

Hello everyone,

I am an international student at BC. I have applied for permanent residency via the BC PNP program. It took quiet a long time (my application was received on Feb 2012), but I recently (in April) received an email to pay the PPRF, which I gladly did! I was wondering how long it roughly takes for them to ask for passport?

When did you send your passport to CPP .. I have been waiting for 7 weeks to get my passport back

Well, here is the thing, they didn't ask for my passport. They just wanted me to pay the PPRF. My online status is application is being processed. Anyone in a similar condition?

Are you from visa exempt country ?

I paid my RPRF on March 12th 2013 along with fingerprints and personal history and they asked me to submit PCC again, have not heard anything back yet after 45 days.... and i am following other people who submitted the same before me..... all are still waiting

Thanks a lot, I see, it sucks, so we have to wait much longer! I paid my RPRF on April 8th. However, they didn't ask me for a new police certificate.

We are in very similar situations! Mine changed to "started processing your application on April 15, 2013.", so let's keep each other posted!

Application received on March 05, 2012.

Mine changed to "started processing your application on April 19, 2013.

Yeah, it seems that it takes CPP about 13 months to start processing the application.

heres my case,
Application received - 30 march 2012
Application started processing from - 16 july 2012
Medical received .....

my friends applied in Oct 2012 and they are here with their families and i am still waiting , hope we all get it soon .... keep updating friends.....

I have a similar timeline to you. My application was received on March 16th, 2012. I recently got request to pay RFPR on April 9th, 2013. I paid the same day and sent personal history also. Lets keep each other posted! Hope we get passport request soon!!

I have some questions...

Is there any chance for refusal after medical? And how long it will take as average after medical done ?

If refusal, is there any chance for appeal ?? And how ??

All replies would be highly appreciated.

They requested RPRF on Jan 27, based on current processing time any idea how much time does it take after that for PPR?

The PCC which i had send was more than one year old. Would they request an updated PCC after RPRF request or if they wanted, they would have asked it before itself??
