Hi guys,

Just check my application online and this is what it shows

PERMANENT RESIDENCY
1) We received xxxxxxx application for permanent residence on April 24, 2018

2) we started processing xxxxxx application on December 19, 2018

3) we sent xxxxxxx medical instructions on October 10, 2018.

4) medical results have been received.

Just today (Wednesday, January 16th, 2019) did I receive an email notifying me that I have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

If you guys can help me figure out a ball park as to how much longer it’ll take to get a final decision, please help! This whole process has been causing my husband and I a lot of anxiety.

Depends on the nationality of the PA and the Visa Office they sent it to (and loads of other factors). But as a guide, work on one year from original receipt as a guide (could take longer or less).

Is it normal for them to “start processing” application months after initially receiving the application?
