How long until i get an a reply or a confirmation from CIC?

I mailed our application here in Canada on June 27, they received it on June 29, i know because i was tracking the package via tracking number. It has been 2 months now and I still haven't received anything. I have checked my mail, email, spam, and junk folders. Nothing. I've read that it takes around 6-8 weeks for an AOR, but nothing at all. We're getting worried. What else can i do right now? Call them?

Most applications are taking 8 weeks these days. So you should be hearing something any day now.

It's trending even longer than 8 weeks lately. Either way not much to do other than wait, you'll either get AOR or it will be sent back for whatever reason.
