From what I have heard speaking to other members after you receive AOR it can take between a few weeks, or even up to 6 months after you get AOR to recieve sponsorship approval. There is not estimated timeline as to when you will get a SA letter or email. I would expect a sponsorship letter or email soon as if you got AOR in July 2016 there is around 3 months until it's been 12 months.

Yes me too, will be a relief to get AOR so I know that the main parts of application are all correct so it doesn't get sent back.

Will cic give me any info on my SA seeing its been 10 moths now waiting. My consultant gives the same answer ( Its not 26 months yet)

Await AOR...

I received AOR on May 5th 2017 and they received my application on April 10th 2017, did you receive your AOR?

@Pirchom

Sounds as if you filed your application using the INLAND route? If that is the case, you can very well be waiting for 12 months or more just for SA, then some more time afterward for approval for the PA.

For those who file their applications using the OUTLAND route, they can expect their SA in roughly 4-6 weeks from AOR.

I applied inland common law and received AOR recently. What would be the next process for me then? As some people are saying SA for Inland can vary...

Got mine less than a week after aor

I received SA practically the next day after I got the AOR

Okay perfect, is that for Inland or Outland that you recieved Sponsor Approval within the next day and the next week after receiving AOR.

How do they inform you? Via email? Nervous now haha!

Definitely outland. In the case inland it comes quite late in the process (currently about 12 months). And yes you'll receive it by email.

Okay sounds good, so where I recieved AOR on the May 5th 2017 what would be the next step for me then? I am applying Inland so just wondering what's going to happen next.

Also, is there a chance they send you SA after AOR with Inland or is it normally around 6/12 months after AOR as the processing time is meant to be 12 months for the whole process for Inland and Outland.
