I got an email today saying that there was an update with my application for my visitor extension (I applied online). I logged into my CIC account online and it said that I was approved for the extension, my only question is how long does it usually take to get the actual paper work/extension in the mail?

I applied last month but got approved on the 14th of this month, then yesterday I got an email saying I've been approved with all my info on it. I'm just wondering because I need to get a new Alberta Health Care card and I don't know if I need to take the actual extension that gets mailed, or if I can just use the email with all the information on it.007JB said:
