How Long Till I Get My AOR?

Hey Guys!

We initially applied in end of June 2019 but they wrote back to us at the end of July 2019 requesting my travel information form (It was missing). We resubmitted our application in the end of August 2019 but we still have not gotten an AOR from IRCC. We are starting to get worried and are wondering what steps to take since we got to know that the only option is to call IRCC directly and that takes hours.
We used the webforms to email IRCC and request the status of our application and the agent told us that the last known status of the application to them was in July 2019 when it was returned.
Please advise us on what to do. This is our first time dealing with IRCC.

I dont understand.

Did they return your entire pack initially because the travel history was missing - then you resubmitted in August with the missing form? If so, then expect to wait 6 to 12 weeks from end of August, no amount of chasing will make anay difference.

OR

Are you saying that they held on to your pack and wrote you a letter asking for the missing form? If so, they you have your acknowledgement (and were lucky it wasnt all sent back).

Unfortunately they sent our whole package back because of one missing form.

Yep, perfectly normal. So you start all over again. Expect 6 - 12 weeks from the date you sent your complete package back the second time.

Thank you so much tbh. I was starting to freak out aha. It's such a frustrating process. I wish it didn't have to take so long, but I guess they gotta do their due process.
