How long is PCC valid for (current residency)?

Hi all,
I got my ITA early July and I am currently preparing the documents. I applied for a PCC from US (my current residency) on Dec,4 2019.
On the CA gov website, it says "For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR". However, on some other consultant's website, they say ‘’Police clearance certificates are only valid for 12 months “

Do I need to request for a new PCC?

You applied for the PCC or you received it on Dec 4?

Go with that the official website says, not what a consultant's website says:

For the country where you currently live
The police certificate for the country where you currently live:

• must be issued no more than 6 months before the date you submit your application
• must not be expired

That being said, it is based of the date it was issued (not when you applied for it).
