Got married on Feb 20-2010. I`m Canadian and she is Cambodian.....We are still getting all the papers to summit the application Cambodian took forever to give us all the documents.

Wow everyone is so newly married... Congratulations. I hope the immigration process goes well for you all. I keep hoping to hear from people who have been married as long as I have and have successfully completed the process.

HeatherUSA: we will have to keep each other posted! Did you write an expedite date on yours? We did but from what I have read they aren't expediting anymore. A shame!
Jessibe - I wrote a date I think that was the beginning of May for FBI but dont recall exactly. Medical was done today and I think that as soon as I have all the docs in place we are going to go ahead and send the application off even if the fingerprints aren't completed yet, since it shouldn't take too much longer and I want the ball rolling. Let me know where you are at!

Well my husband and I were not so lucky as we had to go through appeal. But thank God we won the appeal and now its more waiting. I drive myself nuts trying to find out things or get some kind of calculation of a timeline but thats not really possible as every case is different. Anyways, I keep thinking of how soon all this madness will be over and once I pick up my husband from the airport all this will fade in to a memory and would have been worth it all.

I'm sure that it will ALL be worth it in the end! We were initially going to go the green card route and that process seemed even more scary and daunting somehow. We're trying to stay positive and patient.
Luckily he still has some time that he can visit Canada this year so we won't be apart for the whole process.

Met 2008 married April 18th 2009 Im Canadian she is Brazilian,i have spent a lot of time on planes the past two years lol.Im in Brazil now and so are the papers.Just waiting to hear back from the consulate in Sao Paulo Brazil,mine just started to process April 13th 3 days before my wedding anniversary.Good luck all.

Our first anniversay we were not together. August 14 will be our second anniversary. I just hope that he has his visa by then and we can celebrate together.
