How long have we got after stamping ?

Hi All,

If all goes well and the embassy requests our passports, how long have we got before we could enter Canada ? is there any expiry or extension possible ? Also, as soon as one gets the job is he and his family medically covered or should I take any policy ?

1, 1 year from the date of the medical or expiry of the passport, whichever occurs first.
2. Most provinces have a 90 days waiting period, check which province you are going to reside. If there is a waiting period buy private insurance for those 3 months.

If I live in USA and I come to Canada just for landing and go back to USA, the count for 90 days will start from the day I land or from the day I return to Canada permanently.

Starts from the day that you actually start residing in the Province permanently.
