how long embassy take to reply for study permit

Hello all i have submitted my application in vfs on 23 jan 2018 and they forwarded it to embassy on 24th jan 2018 and till now i haven't got any reply. When i check they always show it is processing.
Anyone know what to do as more than 2 months already passed.

Ask VFS.. Send a mail.. Also try to contact the high commission directly.. Which embassy did u apply?

Yesterday i called them and they said you have to provide a physical letter to vfs new delhi and then they forward it to embassy for speeding up the process.
