How long does it take for the Perm Resident status to show up?

I am curious how long it takes to show up after the sponsorship decision has been made.. and also what are the things that it could say?

If you are rejected -- do they send the application back to you?

Is it for spouse or for parents/grand-parents, brothers/sisters ?.

After they say you are approved to sponsor they will send out a letter also stating this.On there will be a client number in which you can use to inquire through ECAS.After they do approve you the application will be mailed to your visa office,where they will process the PR part the timelines for this can be found on the linc posted above by allison.
