How long does it take for application to appear 'in process" on CIC website?

hiya: my application for Family Class/Spouse just went to Mississauga (both my sponsor/husband's paperwork and mine went in last week). I do have a Client ID # already because I am in Canada on a "Visitor's Record." It will apparently take a while before i can check status, etc., online using the Client ID number .... but does anyone know how long it takes before it shows up in the system? Merci!!!

Takes almost a month. you can also check cic website to see till what day they are currently processing. They are processing app's rec'd uptil 16 dec 09.
