How long does Eligibility takes.

My progress bar is now at 94% and yep passed everything else except biometrics. It took around five months for them to pass eligibility mainly because of covid I think. Btw the progress bar is based on the date of AOR. It doesn't have any relation to the actual file processing.

How did you know your eligibility has been passed?? Did you call the agent??

My eligibility was recommended pass and security and criminality were in process from July 13 (Talked to agent on phone). Then on Aug 17 I got a ghost update and called again. Got to know that Eligibility and security are passed and criminality in process due to pending biometrics.

Call 1-888-242-2100 from your phone if you are in Canada or use 'Hushed' app on your phone (get credits for 50 mins) and get a Toronto or whatever number you want depends on the destination you chose in the application.

Just listen to the computer voice and keep pressing the numbers on phone pad that corresponds to your situation and reach the status of the application. when it says the number to click to speak to an agent, click that and it'll put you on hold for nearly 35ish minutes and an agent will attend then.

Or raise a webform and ask specifically about 'Eligibility' 'Criminality' and 'Security'
