How long did you wait until your points got updated?

Hi there,

we created a profile for Express Entry back in March. Now, as a spouse, I decided to also take a language test to ramp up the score. When we entered the test results in the profile, the score did not change.

I am wondering how long did it take you to get your points updated?

The points should be updated right away. I hope you scored above 6 in all 4 areas in IELTS. Use Express Entry calculator to find out whether it will affect the score or not.

Sometimes it takes a while...

The scores on the CELPIP were: 10, 12, 8, 9, so they would have been scored. I will wait a day to see if it gets updated.

It's weird, though, because when my husband redid the test, and we updated the application with the new test results, the points were updated right away. Now, they aren't.

I had the same issue and took 24 hours to update.

Any idea if the cic crs tool gives the same score as one would get after creating an express entry profile?

Of course it will. If you input the exact same information in both of those, you will get the exact same CRS score.
