How long can I stay after termination of employment

Hi all,

Does someone know how long can one stay in Canada after termination of employment with the employer who sponsored the work permit?..

Hi Shalini...

Me in the same boat . You can stay as long as your work permit is valid. If you can find a job before that, and the employer starts the LMO, you can send in an application to extend your stay, providing all documents on the basis of which the officer will feel confident that you have a valid process in place.
