I have applied for Canadian citizenship on May 8 2018...received an acknowledgement stating the application was received on July 11. No test date yet for the citizenship exam?? It will be 12 months soon...I have called CIC multiple times and was tolf the verifications are complete...wait for the office to contact you with a test date...is this normal to wait this long for the exam...

Yes. Check the May 2018 threads and spreadsheet tracker .apparently April 2018 applicants just got their test invite .
I got my test invite after 16 months- so don’t get too attached about the 1-year thing
Oh really!!! My sister applied two months after I did and her oath oeremony is on April 9!!! Different for each person I guess!!
