How long before I have to move to Canada after PR

Hi guys,

So I applied through the EE, got the PNP, and got approval and PR as well. Completed the first landing on Sept 1st, 2020, and came back to the USA where I live. My question is, how long do I have before I have to move permanently to Canada? I know some rule about having to stay for 2 years in last 5 years, but what is the earliest I have to move there not affecting PR card or PR status?

I see exp date of Sept 2025 on the PR card but I belive I will be out of status for PR if I wait until then. Any expert knowledge on this will be appriciated much!!

@Buletruck Thanks for the quick reply. Can you point me to the rule from CIC where I can read more? What's the condition again? Aug 31, 2022 would be 2 years since my first landing of CoPR. Shouldn't it be 2023 then?
