HOW LONG AND WHAT IS THE PROCESS AFTER WINNING THE APPEAL

Hey guys I won my appeal on feb/10 oral decision was given but up to now I haven't received a official letter from IAD ...can u guys tell me what is the process and how long it takes? my visa office is srilanka ..where would my file will be send to process? Ottawa or srilanka?

I'm also victim of a visa refusal in family class category my interview was on March 19th 2014 and my application has been rejected we want to appeal the decision, what we have to do now how long it will take to appeal?

Probably can count on 6-12 months minimum depending on the office.

You'll soon receive a letter confirming that you won the appeal. The file will either be sent back to your visa office or Ottawa. I think they send cases that are less likely to have any problems for the background checks and medical to Ottawa for completion.

Just to give you an idea...we won our appeal in November, received a letter confirming this in early Dec, and another letter from Ottawa CPP at the end of January asking for updated forms, police checks and a new medical. We haven't heard anything since. It's been a little over 4 months since we won the ADR...

Some visa offices automatically re open the file there for completion rather than it going to Ottawa. Havana is one of them.For them it has always been this way.I inquired about this already, it has nothing do to with Ottawa receiving cases that are less likely to have any problems for the background checks and medical for completion. Not all Visa offices were a part of the Ottawa pilot project for allowed appeals apparently. This is what I was told.I think Ottawa takes over flow of sponsorship apps at times as well.
