Hi everyone,

How long does it take for CPC Mississauga to send a letter stating they have received our package and have accepted our sponsorship application? I was told about 30 days, but I assume probably longer?

Average time is down to 27 days, some people have received an answer earlier, though.
Keep checking eCAS the next week. I see that you joined our September thread, we still need to wait a little more. Our approvals might get delayed because of Thanksgiving though

exactly. Well I wouldn't be able to check ecas until I have that unique ID number that they send in the initial letter right? And when they send this initial letter, do they tell us whether our application to be a sponsor has been approved or not?

CPC Mississauga does not acknowledge receipt of sponsorship apps.! The office will send out a letter to you confirming if you are approved as a sponsor or not in about 5 weeks. You should see the first eCAS online update in about 4-5 weeks after app. submission! Average time taken for sponsor approval is 38 days as of Sept. 7 per below:

CPC received my app. on May 13th. I saw eCAS update on June 22nd and my sponsor received the approval letter the same day as well. Good Luck!

You can check eCAS using your Receipt number and your sponsor information, it will display "Decision made" if your sponsorship stage has been processed. The first letter you'll get from them will tell you what the decision was.

Can someone conform if sponsorship approval letter brings the applicant's client ID? (I'm sorry, I have not received mine yet)

My sponsor's approval letter states HER Client ID, not mine (the applicant)!

For some odd reason I am highly anxious to get this letter! The decision has been made, and the letter was sent Oct. 6th according to ecas! I guess it's an any day now thing.
