To make it short, we had a LDR for 11 years.
We were not able to travel together/visit each other because we were too young, but we always planned to start our life together as soon as I finished university.
I was denied a TRV on 2009, reapplied on 2010 for a multiple TRV which was granted. Been with him and the happiest girl in the world since then. We got married last summer

Met in Vancouver October 2005 whilst on vacation here.
Flew back to the UK and then back again to Vancouver numerous times, then finally sold everything in the UK and flew back to Canada with my then 15 year old son in September 2007.

Luckily, got a 2 year work visa in November 2007, this enabled me to co habit with my partner and explore the relationship. Applied Inland in September 2009, after realizing I wanted to spend the rest of my life with the man.

Landed May 2010.

If you look at our situation, your's is a lot better. We married 2 months after seeing each other and we got engaged without seeing each other face to face. Total times together is only 6 months, the rest is long distance. I am worried if the IO will question the genuisity of our relationship. We provided a lot of proff. Hoping there won't be any problems. I love my husband to death.

Aug 2007	-	We start flirting, she's 15 and I'm 22.
		We had a hard discussion about the difficulties, and I got consent from her parents, who were involved the whole time until she was an adult
June 2008	-	First met face to face, for just a week in case we didn't like each other. Jenny 16, me 23
		Her parents were with us the whole time. They loved me.;D
June 2009	-	First long visit, road trip through the west of Canada!, got engaged. Ages 17 and 24. Wedding plans begin here.
		Saskatoon, SK to Victoria, BC. Got grandma's approval!* (she lives in Summerland, BC)
