Good morning all:
Long story short, my relative came here with his whole family as a visitor and now applying for refugee status ( fake) within Canada. They visited lots of European countries as well as Asian countries before to obtain Canadian TRV. Their last trip was in Italy sometime in April. FYI: They are from Bangladesh.

Any ways, couple days back they submitted all docs. Now I get to know that they used our name as blood relatives ( we are). As he is a fake claimant, do you think we will be in trouble for their such action? Also, they were telling they used our name so that there will be no questions regarding their Italy trip. I have no idea what’s that mean. Anyone? TIA

If you feel it’s a fake claim, you can report your suspicions to CBSA here:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/protect-fraud/report-fraud.html

You should be reporting it, as it could be considered fraud on your part if you know the claim isn’t valid and withholding information can be considered be complicit. Realistically, it is highly unlikely there are any repercussions for you or your family, other than what your conscious can bare if you don’t do anything about it. Ultimately, what CBSA or IRCC decide to do, should you report it, is out of your hands and completely annonimus.

Thanks for your reply. It’s been reported to CBSA & IRCC.

I disagree. The OP is not under suspicion for anything and once he reports it to CBSA or IRCC, other than possible confirmation, he is under no obligation to maintain any records. He has done his part.

Not only the lawyers, They are getting a doctor's report from a dr. who will write a note stating that he has some medical issues. Just in case, if he forgets something or something doesn't match during interview (next week), he wants to keep it as a back up saying i have issues that's why i made mistake. OMG, I cant believe all these happening here in Toronto and CBSA and IRCC doesn't give a damn about the citizen's Tips. Shocked!!!

Hopefully he will be rejected in the end and your faith (and mine) will be restored in the process. You can only keep reporting your concerns about the various immigration professionals even if they are lawyers and doctors. I suspect that the same doctors and lawyers are consistently used so hopefully there are already concerned about their credibility.

He is saying to everyone that no CBSA or IRCC officer can catch his lies. He is that good at lying :/ so he is 200% sure that he will be granted refugee status.
