how is the employment in edmonton for international students..??

hello.! i am confused where to go in canada for my higher studies.? i did a lil bit research about edmonton but i am not sure about the employment over there... i heard calgary's current employment is not good.. its hard to find job their.. so if anyone knows anything about living expenses and employment in edmonton.. please do reply me.. _/\_
