Hello everyone. I got AOR 19th January. I applied with my spouse and my wife lived in 2 different cities in india . So we are unable to get the pcc from psk. Reason being my city don't have the service for this . I applied with the pcc I got from police station and as usual I had the current address mention on it. So now since recently there have been rejection over pcc , is there anyone who got away with spouse pcc and got approved that had a current address on pcc? Is there any where else I can get pcc other then psk that would work? . Also its been a month that I haven't heard anything so no news is a good news. Pretty much most the application that got rejected were withing days so what should i interpret?

PCC from Police commissioners office work okay.
I don't think police stations even have the authority to issue PCCs.
It is the commissioners office which has the authority.

More info here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/india.asp
For residents of Punjab: You can apply to your local Senior Superintendent of Police, or the senior ranking police official at the police station in your District.

For residents of other states: You can apply at your local District Police Station.

For residents of Delhi: You can apply at your local District Police Station or online on the Delhi Police website or on the Passport India website. The Web site will list what information and documents you need. If you apply online, your certificate will be returned to you electronically.

When it says "District Police Station", it basically means Commissioner's office.

Don't know specifically about India so my reply is a bit generic. I think CIC places a premium, so to speak, on PCCs. And that should apply to spouses as well. I would highly recommend that you not take any chances and get all the required PCCs for your spouse. Best wishes.

Spouse PCC is as important as yours PCC. Rule of thumb is that PCC should not be time or geography bound i.e. if a person has resided at multiple places across country of residence in last 10 years and PCC specify only one address, it's bound to be rejected by CIC. One can get PCC from PSK and if that's not feasible, PCC for other address(es) should also be attached as part of e-APR.

Good luck!!
