How Far down the process am I?

Hi there,

I'm a little confused as to what point my PR application is at in relation to others that have applied in the same time frame.

I submitted my application for family sponsorship on July 14th 2016

The next update on the Application status page is Sept 20th 2016 'Processing your application'

I recently recieved a further update last week stating 'medical documents recieved'

My question really is how far down the process am I? I'm seeing a lot of July/Aug applicants recieve their decision made already.

Hey it depends on the visa office where ur file was sent for processing.
To b frank noone can give u the right answer about ur file. U can order GCMS notes to see whats up with it. But u can also wait up a bit. Who knows u might b next getting the ppr.

Thanks for the response.

My file was sent to Mississauga processing office and we applied 'outbound' rather than taking the inland option.

I just wanted to see what the 'trend' was for applicants at the same stage I am at.

How do i find this information out?

My lawyer completed the application for us.

I don't have the 'application number' to link it to the log-in on CIC website. and i have tried multiple times to link the application to my account with no success

I am simply using the Receipt ID to check status.

Currently the system shows that a decision has been made on my wife's sponsorship approval and that the application has moved forward for processing.

Under the application status,
-It was received on July 14th
-Started processing Sept 20th
-Medical information received.

Do you have UCI or you can call cic and explain plus give recipt number
