Dear members,

How does a job offer improve your prospects of immigration? I submitted my application in November (occupation in list of 38) and am currently being offered a job. Do I first move to Canada and then update immigration of my job or do I inform them before I join the job. How does the situation work out when you get a job offer while your application is already under process? Senior members please give your input.

Thanks

if you move to canada as a PR and then join the job, it is no longer an immigration matter (i think).
Its best to let CIC know of your job while PR is being processed, it can only help it. I can't imagine it hurting your application. I think it expedites it.

What do other's think?

you get an additional 10 points and you dont need proof of funds if you have a job offer.

if you have a job offer and it is HSRDC approved then only it does matter in PR immigration.

and if your job offer is with HSRDC approved you can submit it anytime after your full application.
