How do you know if the medical was received?

We did the medical about 2 months before we submitted the application.

Is there any way to tell that it is attached to our file and all is well?

From what I've been reading on the board, it seems like medical is often the final step in the process? Is there any threat that the medical may be outdated?

Hi Cindy

1. There isn't really a way to know if your medical was recieved. Sometimes it will say on ECAS that the medical was received but sometimes it won't even when it has been (depends on the IO, I guess).

2. The medical is valid for one year. If your processing takes long and you pass the one year mark on your medical, you will be asked to do a new one. For you - if the process takes more than 10 months. Unfortunately, nothing you can do about it but wait and see what happens with the timing. If a new one is needed, you will be informed.
