My spouse is working on her PR application but her existing visitor record is going to expire soon. We've tried and tried to locate the link to renew / extend her expiring visitor record but we just end-up navigating around in circles on the IRCC or CIC web-site. We managed to submit the first visitor record application online, and it shows in the list under approved applications, but there does not appear to be any clear way to submit a renewal or an extension online. Is there a way to do it? or is it worth hiring a consultant to figure it out?
UPDATE: We finally figured it out, it boils down to answering the questionnaire in a very specific and precise manner. Forewarning to others intending to renew / extend their visitor records, the online experience is time-consuming and punishing.
