How do Tim Horton workers get PR?

I've heard it's very common for people to work as a crew member at Tim Hortons and then apply for PR.

How does this work though? Because isnt this unskilled work? Does this only happen in certain provinces or on a federal level?

Do all crew members get the chance to apply or only those is supervisor/management positions?

I've heard people say it in conversations all the time. " Working at Timmies for PR ", etc

So ask them how they got PR if not in a TEER 0-3 job.

If it was that easy, tens of thousands of PR applicants would not have waited for EE draws or Non-EE PNP ITAs. Some Timmies might have applied for LMIA during the pandemic (I know A&W and BK did for a few individuals), but those were exceptions due to the lockdown.

I'd feel sorry to those gullible enough to believe and waste money in their applications.

At best they'll give out a proof of employment letter. That's it, that's all they'll do for your partner. Ask them to clarify how specifically they are going to help.

No longer the case. Very few food service workers or retail workers are getting PR through PNP since most PNPs are now prioritizing fields like healthcare for their limited quotas.
