We have a relationship with a few red flags. I went over and over our package before I mailed it on Monday. CIC received it yesterday (Sept 17). I was just tidying up the desk and I found our wedding picture document I printed in a file folder.

I am freaking out :o

I have no idea how I missed putting them in the package. OMG. What do I do? How do I get them added?
:'(

Don't panic!

Now, I'd recommend that you wait until you receive a notification from CIC stating that they have the file. When you receive that notice, you will be given a file number. Once you have that file number, you can use that when sending off the extra documents to CIC so that they can easily relate the package to your application.

More than likely, you will get sponsor approval first, and then send the package to wherever your application is being processed (London I believe for you?).

Lots of cases have red flags. Try not to worry too much!

I called CIC call center and they said there is nothing I can do. You cant add documents or pictures to a file unless they are requested. So I have to wait to see if they are ever requested or my application is returned to me

I have a hard time trusting the CIC call center from previous experience. You often get different answers depending who answers your call.

I cant be the only person who ever missed something. Please help

Thank you so much. So when I get a file number then mail the wedding pictures off to the London CIC office?

Its just so upsetting to spend so much time on something and realize you made a mistake after.

CIC will tell you that. That's they're preferred strategy. You can, (and I have!) add documents even if they aren't requested. I would recommend just waiting until the file is with London, and sending it off then.

Everyone makes mistakes. It's bloody complicated and stressful stuff, and CIC deal with it all the time. Besides, it's not like you left out any forms or anything. They REALLY don't like that! :p

I have tried googling and looking on their website for an address for the London office for later once I have the file number. But I cant find anything. They are so secretive! Do you know where or how I could find it?

I imagine forgetting a form would be worse. I spent $70 mailing that package they better not send it back! LOL

The address for the VO where your application is sent to will be on your sponsor approval letter. In the meantime, take a look at http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/contact-contactez.aspx?lang=eng.

Good luck!

Yes... different answers from different agents at CIC call centre :(
I would wait until you receive the UCI number for the applicant and then send a Case Specific email and add the photos as an attachment ... this way they will be added to your file in London :)

That is a good idea!

Thank you for your help. I was so devastated when I found them.

Hi Becki567:

The same thing happened to me, after all that checking we miss to submit an additional page with one of the answers in IMM5440 form, I freaked out and post a question here in the forum. People advice me to wait till we get sponsor approval and send the missing document to my VO. I was scared they sent my app back because of that. Thanks God we got SA.

The I send the the information using my file number, and all the information I could gave them. I hope they can match it to my file.

About the red flags I got some red flags too.

Good luck :D
