I made a stupid mistake and my charge went to withdrawn(diversion)- at the end of July. I am looking for internship now and full-time in the near future. I was rejected my US visa renewal in Oct. I am upset upon myself cuz I really wanna work there.
all applied positions are in IT. Is it typical for IT companies to do a criminal background check for interns? How about the chance to get US entry waiver, if I get an attorney? Or if it will be better that I wait until next year?
and the file said my record & fingerprint will be destroyed in 2 years. What is the difference of destroyed or not? Background checking cannot find me anymore then?
