Can anyone shed some light? I want to sponsor my sister and her family, and my brother to Canada. I also want to bring my mother and father here on a supervisa.... will this affect an application to sponsor my sis???
Check this link of who you can sponsor and who you cannot. Normally siblings under 18 that are orphan are eligible but if your sister is over 18 you cannot sponsor her but you she can qualify for points for you for adaptability. Quoting CIC Website "You cannot sponsor other relatives, such as brothers and sisters over 18, or adult children who support themselves financially. If they apply to immigrate under the Skilled Worker Class, they may get extra points for having a relative in Canada."

Also if your parents go on supervisa this wont affect your sister normally these applications are treated differently. My brother sponsored my parents but he was no able to sponsor me because of the 18 y old rule but I got points for him.
Also check Québec requirements if that is your case: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/sponsors-sponsored/requirements-sponsor/index.html
