How can I live with my fiancee sooner

Hi all,

I am a Canadian PR working in Canada and my fiancee is currently living in China. We plan to get married in 2015.

The long term goal is certainly sponsoring her PR application, but the current processing time shows it would be at least 1 year.
In the meantime, what would be the best option if we want to start living together as soon as possible?

Is it feasible to invite / sponsor her to obtain a visitor visa so we can get married in Canada?
What are the considerations if she wants to apply for a visitor visa after we get married / started PR application? (i.e. Can we use family reunification as a support for visitor visa application?)

If she can get a visa to come to Canada you can certainly get married here and then put in your sponsorship application once you have your marriage certificate back.

The only hook up is her getting a visa. I think that she will have a much better chance of getting a visa if she applies on her own. It needs to look like she is going to be visiting, not living in Canada. You could try family reunification but i don't think that it will work because they will not see her waiting to leave at the end of her visa.
