Hi All,

I am looking for some advice here.

I am eligible for an Open work Permit since my wife is already employed in Canada. I would however want to continue working for my current company thats based in Singapore.

If my company works with a PEO/Payroll company in Canada, that would mean all my payroll, etc will be managed by this company. However i will still be working for my company thats based in Singapore.

If I engage a PEO/Payroll company to hire me and employ me on behalf of my employer in Singapore, will my experience in Canada be counted towards CEC?

It wouldn’t probably count as Canadian experience , but would count as foreign experience.
Look at CEC page - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/canadian-experience-class.html

have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last 3 years before you apply

have gained your work experience by working in Canada while under temporary resident status with authorization to work
