If an employer has applied for an Lmia to recruit a foreign worker how can the candidate/potential employee check the progress and more importantly if the process is actually underway ? Some people may have difficulty making contact with the employer once the process has begun and some companies may not be willing to keep chasing up the government for a progress update .
There are so many unknowns in this process and very little communication and absolutely no timescale .
I understand it's a busy time for immigration but this can't be an excuse with people's futures and well-being of families relying on this . It's like throwing all your chips on red or black on roulette and the dealer will spin sometime in the next few months .
I'm sure a few people on this forum have had this problem just waiting day after day then month after month , so my original question ..how does the potential employer have some communication with the government to find if a company has submitted an application with your name on it and when this was sent ?
Thanks
