Hi everyone, I need some advice, please.
I am in the middle of completing my EE profile - work history/experience section. I am not sure how to report my hours per week for a part-time/contract University research assistant job.
There were no fixed weekly hours; some weeks I worked less than 15 hours, some week more (but never over 30), depending on work assigned to me.
Example:
From Date X
week 1: 12 hours
week 2: 18 hours
week 3: No work = 0 hours
week 4: 25 hours
week 5: 10 hours
To Date Y
Total = 65 hours between Date X and Date Y. What should be the hours per week value? Should it be 13 hours (= 65 hours/5 weeks) or 16.25 hours (= 65 hours/4 weeks)?
My reference letter is very detailed and states clearly what hours I worked in which week - so there is no omission of information. But what should I enter in the IRCC form? I've thought about splitting it and entering each block of work as a new job (e.g., Job A is weeks 1 and 2, and Job B is weeks 4 and 5), but then I'd have to enter 6 or 7 rows for the same actual job.
